Blueberries Cut Cancer Risk More Than Half

A compound in blueberries may prevent colon cancer,
according to a new joint study on animals by Rutgers
University and the USDA. The compound, called
pterostilbene, lessens precancerous lesions as well
as suppresses genes involved in inflammation.

The scientists studied rats in which colon cancer
similar to human cancer had been induced. All of
the rats were fed a balanced diet, and half of
them were also given pterostilbene supplements.
After two months, the pterostilbene rats had 57
percent fewer pre-cancerous colon lesions and
less inflammation.

Colon cancer, which is the number two cancer
killer in the U.S., has been tied to the high
intake of acidic foods such as animal protein,
sugar and saturated fats in Western diets.

Pterostilbene may possibly reverse the process,
perhaps by lowering lipids, said Bandaru Reddy, Ph.D.,
the leader of the study. He believes the blueberry
compound helps to prevent the disease naturally.

Reddy cited other recent studies that showed
additional benefits of blueberries, such as one
that demonstrated that they can lower cholesterol
and then added, "This study underscores the need
to include more berries in the diet, especially
blueberries."

The Antioxidant and Anti-Aging Power of "Superfruits"

British blackcurrants have dethroned American
blueberries as the reigning “superfruit” which
can best help battle Alzheimer’s, cancer, and
heart disease according to a new U.K. study.

The Scottish Crop Research Institute (SCRI) has
determined that blackcurrants contain higher levels
of antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins than
blueberries or 19 other fruits. Such high levels
of antioxidants can also help stave off diabetes,

Besides testing blackcurrants and blueberries,
researchers examined strawberries, raspberries,

“From a quick overview, it is clear those with a
deep purple or red color perform particularly well,
the darker the fruit the higher the antioxidant
content,” said Dr. Derek Stewart, head of the
nutrition program at SCRI.

“Blackcurrants are very dark purple in color
(purple is high on the alkaline pH scale) and
in line with these indicators, comes out top in
the majority of categories.”

Stewart said that the motivation for the research
came from the huge amount of publicity surrounding
"Superfruits," coupled with the lack of consumer
knowledge of what a "Superfruit" is or what it must
contain.

“We wanted to find out which fruit came out on top,”
he said. “And blackcurrants can claim to be the
No. 1 "Superfruit.”

The End Result of Metabolic Acidosis - Death

There is only one sickness and one dis-ease
and that is the over-acidification of the blood
and then tissues due to an inverted way of living,
eating and thinking. A medical term for
over-acidification is metabolic acidosis.

The following is an unsolicited testimony of
metabolic acidosis:

Dr. Young,

My very first client was Miguel O. He was 79 years
old in 2004 when I heard you present The New Biology
in Las Vegas. Miguel was doing diabetes (for 18 years),
over weight, sick and tired with pains and aches,
headaches, fatigue, doing high blood pressure, high
cholesterol, acid reflux, etc. etc. etc.

He started your products in October 2004 and in 17
days he was totally off all medication. Over 6 months
he became another man not taking meds, he lost weight,
his aches and pains were gone, he slept well, he had
energy to ride his bike and walk around in the
neighborhood, he was happier, and his personality
was kinder.

Over a few months he went back to his old ways with
the occasional cookie, some fruits, milk in a little
coffee, cheese and crackers for snacks... she was not
drinking as much... Since May 2005 he was admitted
to our local hospital 7 times with symptoms of
dehydration, confusion, renal failure, kidney failure,
acute diabetes, high blood pressure, poor circulation.

Every time he was discharged from the hospital the
recommendations were the same... take all these
meds and eat in moderation. These were the
recommendations Miguel followed.

On June 19th, 2007 Miguel drove Edward and I to the
West Palm Beach airport as we were going to NY to
our granddaughter's elementary school graduation.
After Miguel dropped us off at the airport, he was
going to the local supermarket and he never made it.

He experienced difficulty breathing, he was very
confused, he foamed via the mouth... He managed to
park the car... A local sheriff called Rescue and
he was admitted for the 8th and last time at our
local hospital.

A 3 day stay at this first hospital determined that
Miguel's kidneys had petrified, his bowel was totally
congested and warranted immediate surgery. He was
transferred to a bigger hospital.

The surgery showed the bowel was collapsed and could
not be brought back. A couple of days later Miguel
had a quadruple bypass because the doctor detected
blockage in the arteries. He was in the intensive
care unit for 5 days and a total of 7 days in the
second hospital.

Miguel died on June 29th, 2007 with injections of
morphine to keep his pain down.

The Humana/Medicare bill for these 7 days was
$227,799.00! In itemizing the charges, $59,140.25
were for "Supplies" and $ 43,184.50 were labeled
"Pharmacy". "Laboratory Services" were $31,210.25
and the second surgery and recovery were $32,464.50.

Here's the bottom line: 3 weeks after Miguel's
death, the certificate of death came to his widow.
There were 2 certificates... one with reason of death
and one without.

On Part I, Line A, the immediate cause or final
condition resulting in death was "METABOLIC ACIDOSIS".

The death certificate states on a separate line
"Sequentially list of condition leading to the cause
listed on line A were... hypertension, indenic bowel
and CAD or CAO. On another line, "significant
conditions contributing to death but not resulting
in the underlying cause given in Part I are:
shocked liver, renal failure on dialysis,
respiratory failure."

Miguel's wife, Rosa, started the your products
approximately 1 month after Miguel. She understood
that the pH Miracle Living program would bring her
inner light and she transitioned to an alkalarian
lifestyle over the next 3 months. She has been
faithful to her new lifestyle ever since.

Rosa is 87 years old, medicine free, aches-and-pains-free,

Two Research Studies Validating the Acid Connection to Cancer

There are two University research studies
supporting the acid theory of cancer. The
title of the two studies are:

Abstract

We studied the growth of an implanted avascular
tumor in rats, in two-dimensions, based on a
model where the mechanism of invasion is
centered on tumor-induced acidification of
the micro-environment and consequent death of
normal cells.

The spatial distribution of the acid density
around the tumor is found using mean-field
analysis. By assuming that the viability of
both normal and tumor cells falls sharply
below certain threshold values of the local
pH, we determine the conditions for the
formation and radius of a necrotic core at
the center, as a function of the tumor
radius. We show mathematically that
the mean micro-vessel density (MVD) plays
a pivotal role in determining the growth
characteristics of the tumor. When the MVD
is sufficiently small, accumulation of excess
acid inside the tumor leads to the formation of
a necrotic core, which occupies a significant
fraction of the total area in large tumors.

However, necrosis is reduced when the mean MVD
inside the tumor is larger than outside because
of the more efficient removal of excess acid.
At sufficiently high MVD, necrosis might be
absent in the tumor, or confined to small
regions mostly devoid of micro-vessels.

Quantitative estimates of MVD for these different
phases of growth are obtained, and verified using
explicit cellular automaton simulations. Recent
experimental studies on the correlation between
necrosis and MVD support our main conclusions.

Healthy Bowels - Healthy Blood, Brain and Body

The basic natural concepts of health have been lost.
Millions of people die every year and tens of millions
suffer needlessly because they fail to follow the
natural laws of their beings and are being treated
with obsolete and unnatural methods that avoid the
true cause of all sickness and dis-ease.

Though the causes of dis-ease are generally ignored
by conventional medicine, we do have a history of
doctors who agree that the primary causes are always
associated with e-motions, toxicity, congestion,
and malnutrition. These conditions gradually alter
and weaken our internal environment. Once that
environment reaches certain acidic polluted levels,
dis-ease cycles are initiated.

"Acidosis and Toxicosis are the primary causes of
all disease. Rid the body of these poisons and
correct the habits of living, and good health will
be regained and maintained" and, "just as maggots
and flies require the filth of the manure pile in
which they grow and propagate, so the human organism
must become broken down and filthy through bad habits
of living before the tissues and juices of the body
will permit the harboring and growth of any noxious
bacteria."

have been cast aside by medicine it is just as
reasonable to assume that the maggots and flies
found in a manure pile caused the manure pile as it
is to assume that the various kinds of germs found
in a thoroughly filthy body, caused the condition of

The survival of every animal, bird, fish, plant,
and cell, whether it is bacteria, yeast, or protozoa,
depends entirely upon its environment.

Dis-ease is never acquired; it is always created.
Dis-ease is a natural result obtained from an
unnatural lifestyle. Dis-ease is not a question of
exposure. It is an internal development that can
lead to exposure susceptibility. The entry of an
outside entity (bacteria, yeast, parasite) has
little effect upon our bodies unless our internal
environment has become acidic, polluted, and
congested.

An increase in microforms or germs can only be
successful when our bodies have degenerated into
a severely acidic and polluted environment and
our immune system compromised. Indeed, an acidic
environment can only cause the breakdown of the
human cell and tissue in an acidic host, and germs
are the product of the breakdown of that cell and
tissue. The breakdown of the human cell and the
birth a the germ does not happen in a clean, healthy,
and vibrant human body. We must alter our normal
healthy internal chemistry before acids can weaken
our organs and glands with toxicity, congestion, or
poor nutrition and before our body parts can
malfunction.

The most important point to understand here is that
germs do not cause dis-ease they are the product
of cellular transformation. It is acid that
breaks down the human cell not bacteria. It is
acid that causes dis-ease not bacteria or yeast.

There is only one sickness, one dis-ease and one
cause - the over-acidification of the blood and
then tissues due to an inverted way of living,
eating and thinking. There is NO OTHER CAUSE
FOR DISEASE but ACIDITY.

A Great Secret of Health

The intestinal tract or better said the alkaline
buffering system is the hub of our entire body -
all organs, glands, even our brains, heart, and
cells are totally dependent upon a good functioning
alkaline buffering or digestive system. In the Western
World, most people have polluted their bowels with
filth unimaginable and weakened their digestive
function. When the alkaline buffering or digestion is
off, even good food can become acidic. As long as
this filth remains within, our bodies grow weaker
and we become more and more prone towards deficiencies
and acidic dis-ease.


A few great doctors have realized this:

"In the 50 years I've spent helping people to
overcome illness, disability and disease, it has
become crystal clear that poor bowel management
lies at the root of most people's health problems."

"Every tissue is fed by the blood, which is
supplied by the bowel. When the bowel is dirty,
the blood is dirty, and so on to the organs and
tissues.... it is the bowel that invariably has
to be cared for before any effective healing

"Of the 300 autopsies performed at National
College in Chicago, 285 (patients) had claimed
they were not constipated and had normal movements
and only 15 had admitted they were constipated.
However, autopsies revealed the opposite to be
the case. Some of the histories of these 285
persons stated they had had as many as 5 or 6
bowel movements daily, yet autopsies revealed
that in some of them the bowel was 12 inches in
diameter. The bowel walls were encrusted with
material, in one case peanuts which had been
lodged there for a very long time."

"The toxic waste must be removed as quickly as
possible to halt the downward spiral of failing
health. This is best done by: 1. Removing
accumulated fecal material from the bowel....."

Dr. V.E. Irons, a pioneer in colon cleansing theory
wrote: "The cause of most conditions of ill health
is autointoxication and that 95% of their troubles
start in the colon. We can prove that we can find
hardened mucous with its foul smelling curd in the
colons of 95% of the entire nation."

Mucoid Plaque

Mucoid plaque is automatically secreted in the
presence of acids, and other irritants and at first
serves as a protection; but for those who have
followed the standard American lifestyle, which
is acid producing, it is common for mucoid plaque
to form a continuous coating, arranged in layers,
over the small intestine, stomach and the colon.
When the mucus (mucin) is secreted, it coagulates
and can compound with other elements, forming an
increasingly firm and toxic substance, which may
include: drugs, free radical-producing acidic noxious
fecal compounds, heavy metals, parasites and more,
depending on what the person eats, drinks,
and thinks.

Mucoid plaque often interferes with normal bowel
function, nutrient assimilation, and normal
elimination. It will also provide a fertile
stronghold for a large variety of microorganisms
and their noxious acidic compounds. Thus, when
the diet is improved and the person strives for
maximum health, then mucoid plaque should be
removed.

"This layer of mucus, when adhering closely to
the mucosal surface, probably functions as a
barrier to membrane digestion and most likely
also to absorption... where, with increasing age,
the mucus layer becomes more pronounced and
widespread... it is hypothesized that the mucus
barrier interferes with membrane digestion

Is it any wonder that the greatest healers in
the world have always insisted upon cleansing and
rebuilding the alkaline buffering system or the

Health Freedom Is Headed Toward It's Rightful Place In The Sun

Here is how you can help the forward progress of
health freedom, your loved ones, and the pH Miracle

Market and wherever locally grown vegetables are sold.
The response was heart-warming. Many of you have asked

issues and encourages people to read The pH Miracle

Happily, we have sent out quite a few brochures and
plan to continue doing so. Although we would really
love to send out a free color brochure to nearly
everyone in the country, we would surely need your

communications that we send out.

so because of the mission of which I am about to

Health and health freedom is not only a serious goal,
it has become “serious business.” There are far too
many narrow-minded and self-serving entities who would

than a healthy body. Physical health is paramount in
this world. Divine Providence has given us an amazing
vessel to cross the ocean of lifelong challenges as we

The presence of physical health means more happiness,
less fear and worry, less poverty and economic hardships,
and ultimately, less war among fellow travelers.

Recently, several hundred thousand U.S. citizens
contacted legislators to tell them that they did not
want their free choice and their constitutional rights
negated when deciding which nutritional supplements
they might choose for themselves and their families.
This was during the flurry of activity around Senate
bill S.1082 a month or so ago. I know that some of you
were among those to speak out, and I thank you for that.

There are now dozens of prominent “health freedom” and
“right to choose” advocacy groups, natural food
proponents, organic food advocates, and various
consumer activist groups and leaders who are taking
an increasingly active and vociferous stance when
these legal and legislative issues surface or whenever
we see that our freedom of choice is being threatened.

Although it is clear that not all freedom of health
choice advocates understand the importance of pH
balancing and how the body actually works, we appear
to be making good progress in that area, too. I
say this because everywhere I turn it seems that
somebody else is quoting my research, borrowing
ideas, and using information from my articles and
the many books which Shelley and I have published.

When it comes to highly visible activism, probably
the most visible among these is our “frantic friend
of infomercial fame.” Kevin Trudeau has written a
series of books with the theme of “all the stuff they
don’t want you to know about.” Part service, part
hype, and part sensationalism, he has pretty much
taken on the AMA, the FDA, the NCI, the NIH, Big
Pharma and the like. Of course, he has made a small
fortune in so doing. Surely you have seen him on
cable TV by now.

Interestingly, Mr. TV Trudeau has slimmed down using
his “secret magic formula” in his latest book about
losing weight. Of course you have to buy the book to

I assume a great deal of Mr. Trudeau’s considerable
income must be spent on lawyer’s fees defending himself
from all the private and public companies who would
like to keep him quiet. Then there are all the
government agencies that he bullies and more or
less insults, apparently, with some degree of
impunity.

While it is true that I do not care for his
supposedly “free” book offers in which the profit
is hidden in the pricey shipping fees, neither do
I like his long telephone commercials, nor would I
like the hassle of doing business with that
organization from what I have been reading.
Nonetheless, and I say this in all candor, I
admit that I admire him for taking on
“city hall.”

But I am not pointing out the exploits of this
interesting television salesman because of the
way he and others operate his business. Rather,
I want us to step back and see what people like
him and others appear to be causing as America
is becoming an increasingly intelligent nation
of health-care information, products and
services.

Lawmakers are also more aware that citizens,
especially because of the two-way flow of the
Internet, are standing up for their rights
more and more often. And no right is more
precious to us than our health freedom.
My guess is that lawmakers, knowing the
increased presence of an informed citizenry,
will become more and more cautious as they
contemplate health legislation. Far too many
laws and agency regulations have, incidentally
of course, helped to fund campaign coffers
while insulting the average American citizen’s
intelligence. I have mentioned before that
“60 Minutes” earlier this year exposed the
practice of many Congresspersons who vote for
legislation favorable to the pharmaceutical
industry and then go to work for them.

Yet, who has more money? Is it you and I or
the major pharmaceutical corporations across
the country and the world?

Money talks. Money is powerful. As they say,
the rich get richer and the poor get children.
And that is precisely why health freedom is so
important. It is almost impossible to raise a
physically healthy child in America because of
the multiple powerful strangleholds including
our medical system that forces inoculations on
children, the gigantic pharmaceutical industry
spewing out billions of acidic doses of “medicine”
every year, the sugar dominated food industry
and its many contributions to obesity and
ill-health, and the agricultural industry with
their head in the soil while pretending not to
know that their food offerings lack purity and
significant nutritional value.

About ten years ago we started seeing the
“Beef, It’s What’s for Dinner” TV and radio
campaign with the familiar cowboy voice of
Sam Elliot set to the background of Aaron
Copeland’s “Rodeo” music. And so I ask you.
Since when did the beef industry have to begin
selling hot-dogs, beef-burgers and steak to
a meat-hungry America?

Since America began to “wise up,” that’s when.

Red meat, for sure, has been under continuous
and well-deserved attack for at least two decades.
I can’t tell you how depressing and heart-wrenching
it is to drive through Texas and Arizona and see
miles of cattle standing shackled to feed troughs,
unable to move about, for a good part of its life.

And in 1995, we began seeing the strange
“milk moustache” and the now famous “Got Milk”
campaign. That campaign has surely spent
half-a-billion dollars or more since that time
while trying to keep us drinking milk.
So, how come? I ask you. Do we have to figure
out some clever way to “sell” oxygen to America?
Hardly! We understand its importance. Thus,
I hasten to ask, why if milk is so important do
we have to “sell” milk to a dairy-inundated milk,
cheese and ice cream society?

Since American began to “wise up,” that’s when.
It isn’t nearly what it’s cracked up to be.
There are many reports that claim upwards of 70
acidic toxins in the dairy chain starting from
soil, to plant, to feed, to hormone, to cow,
and finally to the processing of the milk itself.
The dairy industry has seen the handwriting on the
wall for quite some time. Rather than convert
their farm land to something more healthful and
valuable, they have, so far, chosen to spend
money trying to convince you that it is popular
to drink milk.

Nowadays, I believe, the pharmaceutical industry
can also see the handwriting on the wall. They
know their drugs are neither safe nor effective.
That’s why they believe they have to spend
billions on advertising schemes, phony ads,
and doctor-bribing which is much more than they
spend on their (sometimes fraudulent) research.

I still can’t believe it when I see them first
invent and then foist new diseases on the public
such as “restless leg syndrome.” Soon I suspect
we will hear of a new drug for the “Itchy Elbow
Syndrome” followed by “Foots Asleep” tablets.
I wonder if they could find time to fix their
ethics while they’re fixing prices.

Also, public opinion toward the pharmaceutical
and meat industry is at an all-time low.
I predict the reputation of the dairy industry
is well past its peak and will continue to decline
in the future.

This, I believe, will be followed by increasing
criticism of the entire food industry. The
food industry is already making window dressing
changes in terms of sugar, grains, fiber, use of
the non-legal word “natural” etc. To fool the
consumer, it is common now to see several types
of different sugars, by different names, on the
label. This allows the company to place sugar
and corn syrup and other sugars separately and
further down on the ingredients list on the label.

If they were to combine the sugar categories,
they would rank much higher on the ingredients list.
Sugar is actually the #1 ingredient in many products
we feed to our children and the #1 drug that
keeps our children food drunk.

Fortunately, more and more people are looking for
alternatives to health. They are abandoning the
recommendations for life-long prescription drugs.

The Antioxidant Power of Fruits and Veggies

People who have plenty of foods with antioxidants
in their diets may be protecting themselves from
bone changes associated with knee arthritis,
according to a new study.

Australian researchers found that middle-aged
adults with higher dietary levels of antioxidants
were less likely to develop certain bone
abnormalities that contribute to knee arthritis.

The findings "highlight the potential of diet to
modify the risk of osteoarthritis," they reported
in the online journal Arthritis Research & Therapy.

Dr. Yuanyuan Wang of Monash University in Melbourne
led the research.

The subjects were 293 men and women who were
middle-aged, healthy and free of knee pain at the
start of the study. At that time, they completed
detailed questionnaires on their diets; 10 years
later, their knee tissue was examined using MRI
scans.

All of the nutrients were obtained through food,
rather than from supplements.

In general, Wang's team found, the higher a person's
dietary levels of antioxidants at the start of the
study, the lower the risk of certain bone changes
10 years on. The same was true when the researchers
looked at overall consumption of fruit, a prime
source of antioxidants.

Certain carotenoids, such as the lutein and zeaxanthin
found in green fruits like avocado and vegetables like
broccoli, were also related to a lower risk of cartilage
defects in the knee.

Antioxidants protect cells throughout the body from
accumulating oxidative damage, which has been shown to
play a role in osteoarthritis. Some research has shown
that antioxidants from fruits and vegetables boosts
bone density, which may explain the benefits seen in
this study, the researchers note.

The Acids in Sodas Cause Heart Disease, Diabetes and Obesity

Yesterday, Vasan and his colleagues released
a study that evaluated about 3,500 men and women
participating in the Framingham Offspring Study.

The offspring study began in 1971, following the
original Framingham Heart Study launched in 1948.
The offspring study included 5,124 people in all.

The questions about soda and other dietary habits
were asked at three different exam periods, from
1987 to 1991, 1991 to 1995, and 1995 to 1998. The
average age of those who answered questions about
their soft drink intake and other health habits was
53 during the three exam periods.

At the first exam period, those who drank one or
more soft drinks daily had a 48 percent increased
prevalence of having metabolic syndrome compared
with those who drank less than one a day, the
researchers found.

As the study progressed, drinking one or more sodas
a day was linked with a 44 percent higher risk of
participants developing metabolic syndrome, Vasan's
team found, compared with drinking less than a soda
a day.

The researchers looked at soda consumption and the
person's risk of developing each of the five criteria
of metabolic syndrome. "Other than elevated blood
pressure, the risk of developing the other four
increased from about 20 percent to 30 percent with
one soda a day," Vasan says. They also found a trend
toward an increased risk of developing high blood
pressure with soda consumption.

First, most soft drinks are full of the acid sugar
and other acidic sweeteners, and that right there
should be enough for you to stop drinking them.

And if they are not full of the acid sugar and corn
syrup, then they are full of acidic artificial
sweeteners, which you should also avoid.

Second, many soft drinks are caffeinated, another
reason to skip them. Even those without caffeine are
still bad, however, because of the acidity.

Soda is saturated with protons, with a pH of about
3.0 - 10,000 times more acidic than distilled water.

Sport drinks are among the worst - more acidic even
than beer, as most sodas are. Gatorade Lemon/Lime
for instance, has a pH of 2.95. Even soda water
or seltzer with no sugar or artificial sweeteners
or caffeine still contains carbonic acid, and has
a pH of about 2.5 - 50,000 times more acidic than
distilled water.

One of the key components of cola or diet cola is
phosphoric acid, which has a pH of 2.5. that's strong
enough to dissolve a nail in about four days. To carry
concentrated cola syrup, truckers must use the the
"Hazardous Material" designation reserved for highly
corrosive materials.

In your body, phosphoric acid leaches calcium from
your bones, making it a major contributor to the
rising increase in osteoporosis.

Americans guzzle an average of 55 gallons of soft
drinks each year - an increase of 131 percent since
the late 1970's. Forty-six percent of children
aged six to eleven now drink soda every single day.
No wonder we are so fat. We are pouring acid down
our throats at quite a clip.

That's bad enough as it is, but remember that the
more we drink of sodas, the less we drink of what
is good for us.

The National Soft Drink Association noted that
Americans bought and drank four times as much
soda as water.

Even if that ratio were flipped, we'd still be
in acidic trouble. Since it takes 20 parts of
sodium bicarbonate to buffer or neutralize 1
part carbonic or phosphoric acid (which is in
sodas), you'd have to drink 20 cups of alkaline
water to counter just 1 cup of soda, diet or not,
caffeinated or not.

This new study showed drinking just one soft drink
a day — whether diet or regular — may boost your
risk of getting heart disease.

That is because a soda habit increases the risk of
developing a condition called metabolic syndrome (an
over-acid condition), according to the new research,
and that in turn boosts the chance of getting both
heart disease and diabetes, which are both caused
by an over-acidification of the blood and then tissues.

"Even one soda per day increases your risk of
developing metabolic syndrome by about 50 percent,"
says Ramachandran Vasan, MD, professor of medicine
at Boston University School of Medicine and the
senior author of the study, published in the July 31
issue of the American Heart Association's journal
Circulation.

To be diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, three of
five criteria must be met: a large waistline,
elevated blood pressure, elevated fasting blood
sugar, elevated fasting triglycerides, or reduced
HDL or "good" cholesterol. All of these conditions
are brought on by an acidic lifestyle and diet.

"This study adds to the wealth of scientific evidence
that sugar-sweetened beverages increase the risk of
metabolic syndrome," says Vasan. Already, he says,
the rise in sugary drink consumption has been
linked to the epidemic of obesity and diabetes
among children and teens and to the development
of high blood pressure in adults.

The spin doctors for the food and beverage industry
takes issue with the finding.

Roger Clemens, DrPH, a spokesperson for the
Institute of Food Technologists, calls the
study findings "oversimplified."

"There are many attributes associated with the
development of metabolic syndrome," Clemens says.
"Some of which are part of lifestyle choices, such
as eating too many calories." Diet soda is a more
appropriate choice than regular soda, he says.

"It's way too soon to say stop drinking diet soda,"
says Clemens, a professor of molecular toxicology
at the University of Southern California School
of Pharmacy, Los Angeles, who is familiar with the
new research. "Diet soda, in moderation, can be part
of a healthy lifestyle."

Explaining the Soda-Heart Disease Link

The link between soda consumption and heart disease
risk factors "might be reflecting dietary behavior,"
Vasan says. "We know people who drink sodas have a
greater intake of calories."

Soda drinkers, he says, are more likely to have a
less healthy lifestyle pattern, such as eating fries,
chips, and other high-fat foods. "They tend to smoke
more and exercise less," he says.

Keep in mind that all of these habits are highly
acidic and contribute to the symptoms associated
with metabolic syndrome.

Even after adjusting for intake of fat, fiber
consumption, total calories, smoking, and physical
activity, he says, there was still a link between
soft drink intake and metabolic risk factors.

"We cannot rule out the possibility that consumption
of soda is a marker of risk — meaning it tracks
with behavior that promotes the risk of metabolic
syndrome — rather than a true risk factor,"
Vasan says.

Other possible explanations: Drinking more sweet
beverages could condition you to have a greater
preference for eating more sweets, Vasan says,
which could increase your weight and your waist
size. Or if you drink a large soft drink with a meal,
you may be hungrier and eat more at the next meal.

The findings don’t surprise Paul Lachance, PhD,
acting director of The Nutraceuticals Institute
at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey,
and a diet and health expert for the Institute
of Food Technologists. “It’s plausible,” he says
of the link between soda intake and increased
risk of metabolic syndrome.

But he wonders about the true root of the association.
It may not be the soda intake itself leading to the
increased risk, he says. “People who drink sodas
may be giving up drinking healthier beverages,”
he says, such as juices, milk, wine, and other
beverages.

What’s Next?

Is there a "safe" amount of soda? "We cannot really
answer that question," Vasan says. The research shows
an association between soda consumption and metabolic
syndrome risk, Vasan says, but not cause-effect.
More study is needed. Still, he adds, "the group
without risk drank less than one soda a day."

His co-author, Ravi Dhingra, MD, a physician at
the Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, in Lebanon,
N.H., and instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical
School in Boston, says: "If you are drinking more
than one soft drink per day, you may be increasing
the metabolic risk factors for heart disease."

"There is no such thing as a "safe" amount of soda.
Sodas are all highly acidic and destroy the delicate
pH balance of the body and uses up its precious
alkaline reserves. If you want to be sick, tired and
fat then drink soft drinks - or should we say hard
drinks," states Dr. Robert O. Young.

Bottom line if you drink sodas you put your self
at risk for latent tissue acidosis which is the
cause of ALL sickness and dis-ease, including
heart disease, diabetes, obesity and cancer.

New Study Indicates Lowering Cholesterol Can Increase Your Risk For Cancer

Millions of Americans take statins to lower
their cholesterol, but how low should you go?

Many scientific studies support the benefits
of lowering low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol,
and achieving low LDL cholesterol levels is one
of the steps suggested by medical savants in preventing
heart disease.

New research, however, provides evidence for an
association between low LDL levels and cancer risk.

Why? The answer is simple.

"The body releases LDL's to buffer dietary and
metabolic acids. When you lower LDL's you leave
the acid that causes cancer," states Dr. Robert
O. Young.

The authors of the study, published in the
July 31, 2007, issue of the Journal of the
American College of Cardiology (JACC), set out
to understand how and why statins cause side
effects, particularly damage to the liver and
muscle cells.

Why do statin drugs cause side effects and even
higher risk for cancer?

"Because statin drugs are acidic and can breakdown
and damage the liver and muscle cells, like an
acidic meat tenderizer," states Dr. Robert O.
Young.

The study findings support taking multiple
medications rather than high-dose statins to
minimize those side effects. The researchers
did not expect to find the increased cancer risk
(one additional incident per 1,000 patients)
from low LDL levels, and additional studies have
already begun to investigate this potential risk
further. A key component in future studies will
be to confirm the risk and to identify whether
the risk may be a side effect of statins or just
low LDL.

"Lower LDL's is not prudent because the body
releases LDL's to buffer acid and helps in
protecting the delicate pH of the body fluids.

To lower LDL's is to set the stage for acidic or
cancerous organs.

The release of LDL's by the liver is in direct
response to latent tissue acidosis. The problem
here is that current medical savants perceive that
LDL's are bad and they are not. LDL's are
protective and saving the life of an acidic person.
It is acid that is bad.

To use statin drugs to reduce LDL's is
akin to throwing kerosene on a already burning
fire. So, to make myself perfectly clear I will
simply state the truth - LDL's good - Acid bad,"
states Dr. Robert O. Young.

Current medical researchers found one additional
incident of cancer per 1,000 patients with low LDL
levels when compared to patients with higher LDL
levels. In their evaluation of randomized controlled
statin trials published before November 2005, the
researchers looked at 13 treatment arms consisting
of 41,173 patients.

“This analysis doesn’t implicate the statin in
increasing the risk of cancer,” said lead author
Richard H. Karas, M.D., F.A.C.C., professor of
medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.

“The demonstrated benefits of statins in lowering
the risk of heart disease remain clear; however,
certain aspects of lowering LDL with statins remain
controversial and merit further research.”

Researchers assessed absolute change and percentage
of change in LDL reduction and the resulting achieved
LDL levels in relation to rates of newly diagnosed
cancer in each treatment arm. They also looked at
the relationship between low, intermediate and high
doses of statins and rates of newly diagnosed cancer.

Although they did not find a relationship between
percent of change and absolute change in LDL levels,
they observed higher rates of newly diagnosed cancer
among patients with lower achieved LDL levels.

Why?

"Without sufficient release of LDL's to buffer
dietary and metabolic acids your risk factor for
cancer will go up. You can count on it," states
Dr. Robert O. Young

In addition, the new cancers were not of any specific
type or location.

Why?

"Because acids always settle in the weakest parts of
the body and especially in the connective tissue, skin,
breasts and brain," states Dr. Young.

Recent data from large-scale statin trials have shown
that more intensive LDL lowering can provide
significant cardiovascular benefits to higher-risk
patients. In response to these findings, recent
national guidelines have advocated for lower LDL
goals and higher doses of statins to reach them.

However, informal observations linking intensive LDL
lowering and higher incidence of reported health
problems, including liver and muscle toxicity and
cancer, has introduced some concern over the safety
of such treatments.

"The concerns are warranted because statin drugs may
be breaking down plaque in the arteries, like Draino,
but it is setting the stage for a heart attack, stroke
and cancer. What we should be lowering is the intake
of dietary acid from meat, cheese, and high sugar
fruits and then the LDL's will lower naturally. It
is very simple to understand what is going on here -
lower acid in the body equals lower LDL's and lower
risk for heart attack, stroke and cancer," states Dr.
Robert O. Young.

These concerns in part prompted the study on statin
drugs and higher LDL's. However, the current findings
are not definitive, as limitations of the study show.

"I will share with you what is definitive, acid equals
sickness and disease and alkalinity equals energy and
health," states Dr. Robert O. Young.

"Researchers performed their analysis from summary
data taken directly from published manuscripts of
each trial. An analysis based on data for each
individual patient would have yielded more specific
and potentially more compelling results," said
Dr. Karas.

“These current findings provide insufficient evidence
that there is any problem with LDL lowering that
outweighs its significant benefits on vascular
disease,” said John C. La Rosa, M.D., who wrote an
accompanying editorial in the July 31 issue of JACC.

However, “we must continue to be vigilant in ensuring
that its benefit clearly outweighs its risk.”

"This study is another testament that lowering
cholesterol with statin drugs can be hazardous
to your health. Those who have high LDL's should
be thanking GOD that these lipo proteins are
saving their acidic body's.

Of course, that would mean you would have to give
up your alcohol, coffee, tea, cigarettes, meat,
dairy, grains and high sugar fruits and start eating
green foods, green drinks, healthy oils, mineral salts
and the right kind of alkaline water.

But health and disease is a choice.

For me the choice is simple. Do I want to do heart
disease and cancer or do I want to do health, energy
and vitality. For me I choose health, energy and
vitality by living and eating alkaline," states

Although the cancer risk was surprising, the
researchers primarily sought to determine how and
why statins cause side effects, particularly damage
to the liver and muscle cells. For this portion
of the study, researchers analyzed 23 statin
treatment arms that included 75,317 patients with
a combined 309,506 years of follow up. A link between
LDL lowering and liver or muscle irritation was not
found.

Why?

"Because LDL's are released in the blood to buffer
dietary and metabolic acid. You cannot have pain or
degeneration of any cell or tissue without acid,"
states Dr. Robert O. Young.

However, liver toxicity levels increased with higher
statin dosage.

Why?

"Because statin drugs are acidic," states Dr.
Robert O. Young.

Based on their findings, the researchers concluded
that moderate-dose therapy with multiple medications
including statins may prove to be preferable to
high-dose therapy with statins alone. Dr. Karas
emphasized that patients are advised to continue
their statin treatments and, as always, consult
their doctor before discontinuing use of any
medication.

“While these results raise important new questions
about statin use, they do not demonstrate a causal
relationship between statins and cancer,” said James
Dove, M.D., F.A.C.C., president of the American College
of Cardiology. “This study is hypothesis-generating,
not hypothesis-proving.”

Breast Cancer is Caused by Dietary and Metabolic Acids

Last week several articles appeared around the world
announcing the results of a seven-year diet experiment,
known as The Women's Healthy Eating and Living (WHEL)
Randomized Trial, of more than 3,000 women with
breast cancer.

This governmental funded study (kicked off by a $5
million grant from the late Wal-Mart heir John Walton
with an additional $30 million in support from the
National Cancer Institute) found no benefit from
recommending that women with breast cancer eat
more fruits and vegetables, and less fat.
The chances of fewer recurrences and better survival
were not seen in women previously treated for breast
cancer after changes in diet achieved during this
study. As a result of this paper, originally published
in the Journal of the American Medical Association, more
people now may believe healthier eating will not help
women prevent or treat breast cancer.

There are many things wrong with this study such as
the following:

1) What fruits were they eating? Were they eating less
or more acidic fruits that can lead to acidic breasts or
more acid in the fatty tissues? Some of these acidic
fruits are apple, orange, pear, banana, pineapple and
all other high sugar fruits. Remember, cancer
is not a cell it is an acidic liquid that spoils cells.

The breasts are a depository for dietary and
metabolic acid from the blood that are not being
eliminated through urination, perspiration, respiration
or defecation.

2) What vegetables were they eating? There are many
vegetables that are acidic to the blood and tissues
that are not helpful in a cancerous state and should not
be eaten - such as potato, beet and carrot.

3) How many servings of GREEN fruits and vegetables
which are alkalizing to the blood and tissues did
these women eat? I recommend 9 to 12 servings a day.

4) Were these women hydrating with alkaline fluids and
were they drinking at least 3 to 4 liters of high pH
water every day?

5) How many were drinking coffee, tea or alcohol and
how much? Coffee, tea and alcohol are major contributors
to an acidic body that can lead to cancerous breasts.

6) How much meat were these women eating daily?
You cannot lose weight if you are eating meat. Meat
congests the bowels and limits proper elimination.
Eating meat increases nitric, uric, sulphuric, and
phosphoric acid which increases a womans risk for
cancerous breasts.

7) In the study the women described as eating
"a dietary pattern very high in vegetables, fruit,
and fiber and low in fat" did not lose any body
weight at any time during the study--in fact, they
gained a small amount.

They were, on average, obese at 161.7 pounds (73.5 Kg)
when they began the study and 6 years later they were
still obese, weighing 163 pounds (74.1 Kg). Nor did
their average weights differ from the women who were
not advised to change their diet (the control group).

Proof that the data collected from asking the women
what they ate was evidence that they were living, eating
and thinking acidic.

The women eating "a dietary pattern very high in
vegetables, fruit, and fiber and low in fat" were
reported to have decreased their daily calorie intake
by an average of 181 calories (1719 initially, and
1538 six years later), yet they gained weight.
At every sixth month data collection they reported
consuming at least 100 fewer calories daily than
before the experiment began. A 100-calorie-plus
daily deficit over a month would cause a one pound
weight loss, over a year that would be 12 pounds,
and over the entire 6 years of study the women
should have achieved trim body weight, unless they
were eating acidic foods and living an acidic lifestyle.
They gained weight because the body retains fat as
a depository for dietary and/or metabolic acids that
are not being eliminated through the bowels, urine,
lung or skin.

Remember that obesity is not a fat problem but an
acid problem and acid causes cancer!

The reason the women in the study put on weight and
didn't lose weight is because the body will aways retain
fat to buffer acid to protect the organs that sustain life.

8) The WHEL study is further proof of my theory that
ALL cancers are caused by dietary and metabolic acids.
The biggest breast cancer and prostate cancer causing
acid is lactic acid from dairy products.

The highest rates of breast cancer in the world are in
Ireland and Norway. These two countries have
the highest breast cancer rates in the world because
they love their dairy products - cheese, milk, yogurt
and ice cream.

If you want to increase your risk for breast cancer or
prostate cancer all you need to do is eat liberal
amounts of dairy products.

It is important to note that there was no mention that the
women in the WHEL study eliminated dairy products from their
diet! Could this have been the reason why all these women
could not lose weight and were still at risk?

9) The biggest problem with this recent study is
that there was no understanding of what foods
alkalize the body to prevent or reverse breast
cancer and what foods acidify the body that can cause
cancerous breasts.(The word cancer is an adjective
not a noun. There is no such thing as a cancer cell
or breast cancer. There is such a thing as a
cancerous cell or cancerous breast tissue. Cancer is
a liquid that flows to every part of your body.)

To prevent any cancerous state of the body, including
the breasts, you must maintain the body's alkaline
design through proper elimination of dietary and
metabolic acids. We do not get old we mold.

My recommendation is to eat at least 9 to 12
servings of ALKALINE FRUITS and VEGETABLES like
avocado, cucumber, tomato, lemon, lime, peppers,
broccoli, spinach, celery, parsley, kale, collard
greens, just to name a few.

The formula for cancerous breasts or healthy
breasts is very simple:

1) Acidic lifestyle and diet = acidic or cancerous
breasts.

2) Alklaine lifesytle and diet = healthy and energetic
body and healthy alkaline breasts.

The findings of The Women's Healthy Eating and
Living (WHEL) Randomized Trial, of more than
3,000 women with breast cancer is an example
of scientific fraud.

Let me share with you an example of how
researchers can come to their unscientific
conclusions. The following, I believe, is a
perfect example of how ridiculous these findings
can be.

The bottom line - it is all a matter of perception
and interpretation of the data and the scientist(s)
understanding of the truth of matter!

So here we go with my example of today's scientific
research conclusions on breast cancer in America:

1) Japanese folks eat very little fat and have less
breast cancer than Americans.

2) Mexican folks eat a lot of fat and have less breast
cancer than Americans.

3) Chinese folks eat very few fruits and vegetables and
have less breast cancer than Americans.

4) Greeks eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and have
less breast cancer than Americans.

5) Germans drink a lot of beer and eat sausage but
have less breast cancer than Americans.

Conclusion: Eat and drink whatever you like being
American is what causes breast cancer and kills you!

My so-called scientific conclusion is just as ridiculous
as the findings that fruits and veggies do not prevent
or reduce the incidences of breast cancer or that
eating grapefruit may increase your risk for breast
cancer. All three conclusions are unscientific,
ridiculous, false, and misleading.

I believe the most important factor for maintaining
incredible health, energy and vitality is the
"pH factor". If you maintain the alkaline design
of your body and keep your body fluids free from acid at:

1) Blood pH - 7.365
2) Lymphatic fluid pH - 7.365 t0 7.4
3) Extracellular fluid pH - 7.365 to 7.4
4) Urine pH - 7.2 or better
5) Bowel elimination pH - 7.2 or better
6) Saliva pH - 7.2 or better
7) Stomach pH - 7.2 or better
8) Small intestine pH - 8.2 or better
9) Large intestine pH - 7.2 or better
10) Sweat pH - 7.2 or better
11) Tears pH - 7.2 or better

you will live a long, vibrant, fit and healthy life.

There is only one cause of ALL sickness and dis-ease
and that cause is the over-acidification of the blood
and then tissues due to an inverted way of living,
eating and thinking.

And if there is only one cause of ALL sickness and
dis-ease then there is only one treatment - alkalize
and energize the body with green foods, green drinks
and green living.

Remember when you are green you are clean, and,
the human organism is alkaline by design but
acidic by function. Maintain the alkaline
design and live a life full of health and energy.

Study Fails to Show Benefits of Fruits and Veggies
for Breast Cancer Patients

Women are Blamed, but the Investigators Were at
Fault

The meat and dairy industry must have been laughing
all the way to the bank on Tuesday July 17, 2007
when headlines worldwide announced the results of a
seven-year diet experiment, known as The Women's
Healthy Eating and Living (WHEL) Randomized Trial,
of more than 3,000 women with breast cancer.

This government funded study (kicked off by a $5

Incontrovertible Facts Show Women Made Few Changes

Data collected by asking the study participants
about what they ate suggested they were eating more
fruits and vegetables and less fat after being
given instructions dictated by the study guidelines.

But people don't always tell the truth--they often
want to please the investigators, so they tell them
what they think they want to hear, which in this
case was clearly inaccurate.

The women described as eating "a dietary pattern
very high in vegetables, fruit, and fiber and low
in fat" did not lose any body weight at any time
during the study--in fact, they gained a small amount.

They were, on average, obese at 161.7 pounds (73.5 Kg)
when they began the study and 6 years later they were
still obese, weighing 163 pounds (74.1 Kg). Nor did
their average weights differ from the women who were
not advised to change their diet (the control group).

Proof that the data collected from asking the women
what they ate was inaccurate. The women eating "a
dietary pattern very high in vegetables, fruit, and
fiber and low in fat" were reported to have decreased
their daily calorie intake by an average of 181

The differences in foods consumed between the two
groups were caused by the control group reporting
that they ate less fruit and more fat over the
study period--not by any improvement in the
intervention group's diet, other than 2 more
vegetable servings a day. Yet, rather then writing
about the minor absolute changes in the diet made
by the intervention group, they boasted of the
relative differences between the intervention and
control groups--reporting impressive figures like:
"At 4 years, relative differences in mean intake
between study groups were +65% for vegetable servings,
+25% for fruit servings, +30% for fiber, and -13%
for energy intake from fat.

The Authors Deceived the Public

Fraud is intentional deception resulting in injury
to another person. The authors deceived the public
by claiming they were able to cause the "adoption
of a dietary pattern very high in vegetables, fruit,
and fiber and low in fat."

Their concluding statement was, "... during a mean
7.3-year follow-up, we found no evidence that
adoption of a dietary pattern very high in vegetables,
fruit, and fiber and low in fat vs a 5-a-day fruit
and vegetable diet prevents breast cancer recurrence
or death among women with previously treated early
stage breast cancer." These words reflect the tone
of the entire article--one of a successful experiment,
not a failure--and led the public and press to believe
that women in the intervention group made substantial
changes in their diet. The result was headlines like:
"No Cancer Benefit Found In Mega-Veggie-Diet Study,"
"Dietary Hopes Dashed for Breast Cancer Patients,"
"Intensive Diet Doesn't Prevent Breast Cancer:
Study," "Healthiest Diet Made Little Difference to
Breast Cancer Survivors," and "Fruits, Veggies Don't
Stop Cancer Return."

But the conscientious reader who studies the data
correctly concludes: Even if the data reported were
an accurate reflection of what these women did,
two more vegetable servings a day is not a diet
"very high in vegetables, fruit, and fiber and
low in fat."

Neither lack of intelligence nor carelessness
caused the report to be written in a manner that
led the public and press to incorrect conclusions;
I believe the authors intentionally deceived the
public. One possible motivation for distorting the
truth was to save face.

They wasted $35 million dollars (much of it
taxpayer money) by feeding women with breast
cancer an ineffective diet. Rather than admit
their mistakes, they chose to distort the real
meaning of the findings of their study, and
effectually, deprive women of an opportunity to
become healthier by eating more fruits and
vegetables.

Sixty years of scientific research, involving tens
of thousands of published articles, has identified
the rich Western diet as the cause of breast cancer
and many scientific studies have shown that a
meaningful change in diet will allow women with
breast cancer to live longer and healthier. Yet,
one poorly-executed, well-publicized, study may
turn the tide for better health for women.

When Asked, Women Will Change

Breast cancer is a fatal disease and women will
do almost anything to live. They will endure
poisoning by toxic chemotherapy, burning with
radiation, and mutilation from breast-amputating
mastectomy; in the hopes of living a few more days.

Obviously, if asked to do so, and given proper
support from their doctors and dietitians, they
would do something as simple, safe, cost-effective,
and enjoyable as eating oatmeal and bean burritos
while avoiding beefsteaks and cheese omelets.

In The Women's Healthy Eating and Living (WHEL)
Randomized Trial they continued the same meat-,
dairy-, oil-, and environmental chemical-laden
diet that got them in trouble in the first place,
with minor modifications. The investigators,
not the women, should be held responsible for the
fact that even the instructions to eat, "5 vegetable
servings plus 16 oz of vegetable juice; 3 fruit
servings; 30 g of fiber; and 15% to 20% of energy
intake from fat," were followed poorly. The
full cancer-inhibiting benefits of low-fat,
plant-foods were never offered to these women.

A true test of diet for the prevention and treatment
of breast cancer would follow the model of the diet
of women worldwide who have the least chance of
contracting breast cancer and the best chance of
surviving it. These are women who follow a diet
based on starches, like from rural Asia (rice),
Africa (millet), Mexico (corn), New Guinea
(sweet potatoes) and Peru (potatoes).

The few women, who do get breast cancer in these
societies, also live longer than their Western
counterparts.

Unfortunately, a serious diet study on breast cancer
is no more likely to occur than would a study on
heart disease, obesity, or type-2 diabetes--diseases
well accepted to be due to the Western diet. Current
financial incentives are focused on maintaining the
status quo.

So, until the revolution against the controlling
interests of big business occurs you will be left
to your own means to protect yourself and your
family.

Grapefruit Does NOT Cause Breast Cancer - Grapefruit Prevents Breast Cancer

We are now finishing the picking of this
years Rancho del Sol organic ruby red
grapefruit at Ranch Avorado.

If one has never tasted a Rancho del Sol
ruby red grapefruit, the first experience
may be somewhat disconcerting: less
sweet than an orange, less acid than
a lemon, and a little sour. At first,
this original combination of flavors
may seem strange, but one soon becomes
accustomed to it.

The Rancho del Sol organically grown
ruby red grapefruit is the largest of the
citrus fruits and the most alkaline. It has
also been the object of the most scientific
research in recent years. As much for its
composition as for its medicinal properties,
the Rancho del Sol organic ruby red
grapefruit is surprising investigators, who
continue to focus their attention on this
incredible alkalizing fruit.

The Rancho del Sol grapefruit pulp contains
a moderate amount of carbohydrates and
very few proteins and lipids. Among its
vitamins, the most prominent is C at 34.4
mg/100grams. As for mineral salts, it is
high in potassium at 139 mg/100 grams
making it an alkalizing fruit, in addition to a
certain amount of calcium at 12 mg/100 grams
and magnesium at 8 mg/100 grams.

The Rancho del Sol Grapefruit contains
hundreds of no-nutritive components. Among
these are pectin, flavonoids, carotenoids,
and limonoids.

Pectin is a type of soluble vegetable fiber
found in many fruits such as citrus. Vegetable
fiber was the first non-nutritive food component
to be studied because of its medicinal effects.
Grapefruit pectin is found in the fiber forming
its pulp and in the whitish layer just below the
skin and between the sections. The fiber stands
out for its arterial protection and its anti-
cholesterol or anti-acidic effects as deomonstrated
in numerous scientific experiments.

The flavonoids are part of a group of non-
nutritive components known as phytochemicals.
Chemically they are glycosides, which are
widespread in plant-based foods and whose
medicinal properties continue to amaze
scientists. The predominant glucoside found
in our grapefruits is naringine,
which is transformed into naringenine in the
body. It impoves blood flow, and has anti-
oxidant and anticarcinogen properties.

It is very important to note the anit-cancerous
properties of grapefruit since a recent
article was released suggesting grapefruit may
increase the risk of breast cancer.

The benefits of eating grapefruit with its
many anti-cancerous properties including
limonene and naringenine will help buffer the
acids in the blood, including
cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4).

The recent study suggested that the increase
of estrogen in the blood was a result of eating
grapefruit and the loss of cytochrome P450 3A4 and
was a risk for increased breast cancer.

First, the loss of cytochrome P450 3A4 is
a result of the antioxidant properties of
grapefruit. This is a good thing.

Second, the estrogen in the blood is
not a direct result of eating grapefruits.

Third, the hormone estrogen is an acidic
hormone of glandular function.

Fourth, the increase of estrogen in the blood
is a result of an acidic diet of meat, dairy
(especially cheese) and high sugar fruits
which can lead to the over-activity of the
reproductive glands producing the acidic
waste product or estrogen.

Fifth, the solution to reducing estrogen is
not by eliminating grapefruit but by eliminating
meat, dairy, high sugar fruits and grains. When
this is done the estrogen levels will begin to
drop to normal levels.

Sixth, keep eating grapefruit, it will
prevent acidity and thus prevent a cancerous
state, including breast cancer.

Eating grapefruit provides carotenoids
which are a good source of beta-carotene,
the precursor to Vitamin A. The Rancho del
Sol grapefruit contains many other substances,
called carotenoids, which act similarly and
facilitates the anitoxidant effect of Vitamin C
and flavonoids.

Limonoids are terpenoids that constitute the
essence of the Rancho del Sol grapefruit. The
Rancho del Sol Grapefruit is particularly rich in
one of these - limonene, which gives the fruit
its bitter alkaline taste, and a large portion
of its proven anticarcingenic properties and will
prevent breast cancer.

The Rancho del Sol grapefruit serves to protect
the arterial walls from the acidic hardening and
indulation associated with the deposit of acid
bound cholesterol and its consequent acidic
calcification, the process known as
arteriosclerosis. In this way the Rancho del Sol
grapefruit increases the volume of blood reaching
the tissues and improves circulation. Pectin is
the non-nutritive component that is principally
associated with this effect.

The protective and healing effects of the Rancho
del Sol grapefruit on arteriosclerosis are more
pronounced if the whole fruit is eaten and not just
its extracted pectin. This is probably because the
flavonoid maringine contained in the Rancho del
Sol grapefruit has the proven effect of lowering
the blood hematocrit when this is excessive (more
than 55%). Hematocrit is a measure of the
concentration of the blood in cells. When the
hematocrit is lowered to normal levels by the
effect of grapefruit, the blood becomes more
fluid, circulation improves through the artieries, and
there is less risk for blood clots, which are the
most serious complication of arteriosclerosis. It
is important to note that when the hematocrit is
low because of excess acidity (causing anemia), the
Rancho del Sol grapefruit does not reduce it
further, but rather, it causes it to rise toward
more normal levels.

The combined components of the Rancho del Sol
grapefruit, then, have a positive effect:

1) on the arterial walls, increasing their interior
diameter,
2) preventing cancer, including breast cancer, and,
3) on the blood, making it more fluid.

The use of the whole Rancho del Sol grapefruit,
including the pulp is particularly useful for all
forms of arteriosclerosis, whether or not its is
complicated by clotting:

1) cerebral (lack of circulation to the brain);
2) coronary (angina pectoris, heart attack):
3) peripheral (lack of circulation to the limbs).

The virtual absence of sodium and fat in the
Rancho del Sol grapefruit, as well as its high
level of potassium, makes it very suitable for
those challenged with heart dis-ease, particularly
heart failure. Those suffering from hypertension
should also eat an abundant amount of Rancho
del Sol grapefruit, since it has a mild diuretic
effect that helps de-congest the circulatory system.
In these cases the juice is adequate, although eating
the whole fruit including the pulp provides better
access to the benefits for the circulatory system.

Excess uric acid from eating animal proteins, in any
of its forms: gout, uratic arthritis, kidney stones,
breast stones, brain stones, gallstones, a Rancho
del Sol grapefruit is very effective in dealing with
these symptoms of over-acidity.

Whenever one wishes to 'cleanse the blood,' thus
promoting the body's detoxifying functions (particularly
in the liver), one may drink a glass of fresh Rancho
del Sol grapefruit juice on an empty stomach each
morning. The best results are obtained by
following this regime for one month, resting one or
two days a week. The detoxifying effect of the
Rancho del Sol grapefruit , at least partially, because
its limonoids chelate excess acids in the body and
especially the liver.

The Rancho del Sol grapefruit does not promote
weight loss in and of itself, although it is recommended
in the pH Miracle Weight Loss Plan. However, because
of its depurative and detoxifying properties, it is an
excellent complement to the diet of anyone wishing
to lose weight. This is accomplished by including
the Rancho del Sol grapefruit juice in the diet.

An interesting study using laboratory animals was
conducted at the University of Florida, USA. During
an entire year the animals were fed an atherogenic
diet (one that generates arteriosclerosis) very rich
in saturated fat and that, indeed, generated arterio-
sclerosis. From that point, one group of animals
was fed small amounts of grapefruit pectin each day.
After nine months, the average arterial narrowing
in these animals was 24%, as opposed to 45% in
those animals that had not been fed pectin.

Other experiments show that grapefruit pectin intake
may lower the level of LDL cholesterol by 10.8% in
four weeks.

The grapefruit's specific combination of pectin,
and limonoids help protect against the acids
that cause cancerous tissue, including breast cancer.
Regular consumption of Rancho del Sol grapefruit is
a good way to protect against the acid that may cause
cancerous tissue any where in the body.

The World's First Liquid Colloidal Gemstones for Health and Energy

Precious and semi-precious gemstones emit
